Ghost of Yōte takes place 300 years after the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima, in the countryside of 1500s Japan. The story follows a tormented, lonely mercenary named Atsu. Thirsting for revenge, he travels across the beautiful, rugged landscapes of northern Japan, hunting down those who killed his family many years before.

Sixteen years after his family's death, Atsu's quest across Ezo takes him into unexplored lands to hunt down a band of six outlaws, but he finds much more than revenge.

Along the way, Atsu meets unexpected allies, and forges stronger bonds than he ever imagined.
